Although there are more spectacular games like the horse races in Siena, we tend to go to the nearby and smaller "Giostra del Saracino" in Sarteano where each of the five town quarters sends a rider to pick a ring from a wooden figure. The fun is to encourage or discourage the riders with loud clapping or whistling, depending which quarter your favorite is. Especially the parade of citizens in their beautiful rennaisance costumes and the ceremony at the beginning give this occasion a noble impression.
