The amazing garden of La Scarzuola near Montegabbione is surely worth a visit. On the grounds of a former Franciscan convent, the architect Tomaso Buzzi has created his idea of an Ideal City in a neo-mannerism style, including 7 theatres combining elements of symbolism, allegories, labyrinth, astronomy and magic. It is an intruiging and almost surreal place.
